ABOUT

Developing the business “Industrial Analytics” is my passion: the analysis of machine events and sensor values.

My focus is consulting on the development of new data-driven business models and the implementation by our plug-and-play analytics modules for system components of machines (various verticals).

Other key areas include predictive maintenance, customer benchmarking & profiling, root cause analysis, automated non-linear guided troubleshooting, semantic search, and content management for after-sales service organizations.

EXPERIENCE

Director IoT at Empolis Information Management GmbH   |  October 2017 – present

Empolis Industrial (IoT) Analytics with the solution called Empolis Service Diagnostics, combines analytics of remote asset data with contextual information about an engine that can be found in service information systems – structured or even unstructured. As a result, customers gain highly valuable insights to optimize their operations.

The focus and unique selling point of Empolis is being the mediator between the engineers and complex IT procedures. To do so, Empolis has gathered a wide collection of vertical analytics ready to be used in any IoT framework. The analytics methods used are developed based on the latest trends in artificial intelligence (AI). To learn patterns and rules, cognitive methods of machine learning, such as deep learning, neural networks, dynamic time warping, combined with case-based reasoning, sequence pattern analysis and Baysian networks, have been developed. But Empolis Industrial Analytics is not about algorithms in themselves, but about the understanding of a machine, its processes, and how to measure and predict its behavior.

Senior Sales Manager at Empolis Information Management GmbH    |  June 2012 – September 2017

Empolis provides solutions that enable companies and organizations to analyze, interpret and automatically process the rapidly growing amount of structured and unstructured data. They utilize their knowledge capital to improve enterprise-critical business processes enabling decision-makers, employees and customers to reliably receive precise and relevant information, situation-appropriate and task-relevant, for faster and better decisions.
